What is Music Connect?
MusicConnect is a subscription based service where you can listen to full songs on your Aircel mobile phone. You can subscribe to this service by dialing the toll free IVR number 543219, through website and through social networking site– Facebook. MusicConnect provide you with an option to subscribe and share the song you are listening to with your friends through social networking sites-Facebook and Twitter.

What are the methods to subscribe for Music Connect?
You can subscribe to Mobile Connect through:

  • IVR – By dialing a toll-free number 543219
  • Aircel site ( – Visit the site and look for MusicConnect or logon to On the product information page click Join now. Follow the instructions to attach your mobile number and your Facebook or Twitter profile.
  • Facebook – Search the application “Aircel MusicConnect “and then add the application to your profile.

MusicConnect will be available for which social networking sites?
MusicConnect will be currently available as application for Facebook and as tweet on Twitter.

How soon will my Facebook/Twitter status be updated with the song I am listening on Music Connect?
For status update you should have added & linked the facebook application or authorized twitter for Aircel MusicConnect and also have a valid subscription.  MusicConnect will be updating the status of the song in real time on your Facebook/Twitter profile.(Network delays might lead to delay of few seconds)

How can I register to Music Connect?
To register for Music Connect, you may do so through:

  • IVR:
    • Dial 543219
    • 4 -digit password will be sent to you by SMS
    • Visit our website( or social networking site – Facebook
    • On the MusicConnect website application, enter the Password and your mobile number.
  • Social networking sites – Facebook
    • Login to your profile
    • Search for MusicConnect application
    • Add the application to your profile
    • Open the application and follow registration process to generate PIN
    • PIN will be sent to you by SMS
    • A new password will be sent to you by SMS

How can I listen to the songs on MusicConnect after subscribing?
MusicConnect will allow you to listen to the songs of your choice through:

  • IVR –  dial 543219 and listen to songs
  • Social networking sites – Facebook open the MusicConnect application and listen to your favorite songs

How long after the registration I would be able to use MusicConnect on Facebook/Twitter?
MusicConnect will let you share the current song you are listening to immediately after registration on the Facebook through application. Your Twitter account will be updated in real time as and when you are accessing IVR and website (

How will I get the notification of the successful registration to Music Connect?
After the registration for MusicConnect is successfully completed, you will get a SMS notification with your username and password. By default username is your Aircel Mobile Number.

I want to listen to a particular song through Music Connect, how can I search?
MusicConnect provides you with an option to search and listen to your favorite song through the application on your social networking site – Facebook or on
The search functionality is currently not available through IVR.

Can I create a playlist while listening to songs on Music Connect?
Yes, MusicConnect provides you with the option to create playlist while listening to songs. To create a playlist on:

  • IVR: Press 6, while the song is playing
  • Facebook/Twitter: Click the + sign next to each song
  • Website:

Each customer gets his own dial-in number for playlist as soon as it is created.

Is there a time limit for the playlist to be valid on Music Connect?
The playlist on MusicConnect will be available to you as long as your subscription to the service continues and you hold at least one song in that.

Will my IVR minutes be consumed if I stream my music online? 
No. Online streaming is an add-on to Aircel MusicConnect subscription, online streaming is absolutely free for you. As long as you have a valid account and balance left, you can browse the web store front at any point in time!

My Music player has been disabled, reason? 
Check if you have logged in. Also check the validity or balance in your account. If the balance is insufficient, then either top up or recharge.

I want to rate music tracks, how do I do that? 
Simply click on the stars showing the current popularity under the track pane and rate any tracks. You can modify the ratings as per your liking. 

I have forgotten my password, how do I retrieve it?
Not a problem. Simply click on Forgot Password on the Sign In page. Enter your mobile no, the same one with which you logged in. You will receive an SMS with your password on the mobile number entered by you.

What all can I do without signing in? 
If you do not wish to sign in, you can browse through the portal but remember the functionality will be limited.

How do I add full length songs to My Playlist?
Simply click on the + icon placed next to each track. The song will be added to your playlist. To change the sequence, all you have to do is drag a track to your playlist.

How do I edit my play list? 
Firstly, open the playlist you want to edit simply by clicking on it in My Play lists. Now delete the unwanted tracks from your playlist by clicking on X placed against the individual tracks. 

Web store logs me out after a while, reason?
For security reasons, the web store has been programmed for IDLE time out. So when there is no activity happening from your end, it simply logs you out. Simply log in again

Is top up possible from the web store? 
Absolutely! You can charge your account from the Aircel MusicConnect web store by choosing the top ups as per your need.

How fast should my Internet connection be?
Your Internet connection should be at least 64kbps. Only then will you enjoy a smooth streaming of audio.
